1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do NOT do:

• We do not collect any personal information (name, email, phone, address)
• We do not collect, read, or transmit the content of your scanned QR codes or barcodes
• We do not collect or transmit your generated QR code content
• We do not track your location
• We do not access your contacts, calendar, or other personal data
• We do not create user profiles or accounts
• We do not use cookies or web tracking technologies
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties

2. Camera Access

The App requires access to your device's camera solely for the purpose of scanning QR codes and barcodes. Camera data is processed in real-time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. You can revoke camera access at any time through your device's Settings.

3. Photo Library Access

When you choose to scan a QR code from an existing photo or save a generated QR code image, the App may request access to your Photo Library. This access is used only for the specific action you initiate. We do not browse, scan, or upload any other photos from your library.

4. Local Data Storage

All scan history and generated QR codes are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:

• Remains entirely on your device
• Is never transmitted to any server
• Is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• Can be deleted at any time from the App's Settings
• Is removed when you uninstall the App

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Apple App Store & StoreKit

If you choose to subscribe to QR Scanner Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.). Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy

5.2 Advertising (Free Version)

The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect certain device information for ad personalization and measurement purposes, including:

• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• Advertising identifier (IDFA), if you have granted permission
• General location (country/region level, not precise)
• Ad interaction data

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. For more information about Google's data practices, visit: policies.google.com/privacy

QR Scanner Pro subscribers do not see any advertisements, and no ad-related data is collected for Pro users.

5.3 Firebase Analytics (Optional)

We may use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage patterns (e.g., which features are used most, crash reports). This data is anonymous, aggregated, not linked to any personal identity, and used solely to improve the App. Subject to Google's privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

6. Children's Privacy

QR Scanner - Barcode Reader does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require any personal information to function.

7. Data Security

Although we do not collect or transmit your data, we take the following measures to protect the data stored locally on your device:

• All local data is stored using Apple's secure SwiftData framework
• The App operates within Apple's iOS sandbox environment
• No data is transmitted over the internet (except for ad serving in the free version and purchase verification)

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — View all your stored data within the App's History section
• Delete — Delete individual items or clear all history from Settings
• Opt-out — Disable personalized ads through iOS Settings
• Revoke permissions — Revoke camera or photo library access through iOS Settings at any time

9. International Users

The App processes all data locally on your device regardless of your location. No data crosses borders or is stored on international servers.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
